Ski Sapphire Valley Snow and Operations Report: Feb 10 - 13, 2025

The southeastern USA has been experiencing significantly warmer-than-normal temperatures over the past two weeks, greatly impacting snow conditions. As a result, the Frozen Falls Tube Park is currently closed due to a lack of snow.

An active weather pattern is expected from Monday night through Thursday, bringing multiple rounds of rainfall to the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia. With heavy rain and mild temperatures persisting, snowmaking will not be possible.

Snow conditions on the Learning Slope and Main Slope will be monitored throughout the week, with a final assessment before the weekend.

The slopes are scheduled to open Friday at noon, weather permitting.
